There’s one phrase every server hears that can completely change the flow of a table: “We’re not in a hurry.” That’s totally fine… but understand that your server is managing multiple tables, timing courses, handling requests, and constantly prioritizing what needs attention. If you choose to take your time, your table may naturally move lower on the priority list because other guests, large parties, and unexpected situations are happening around you. Then when you suddenly need the check, dessert, or a quick turnaround, your server may already be juggling other responsibilities. .#ServerLife #RestaurantLife #DiningEtiquette
